Reason for leaving
Initially the job was only supposed to be for one year, as it was marketing internship/co-op program. Once the task of getting all the websites to coincide with those of IBM, the opportunity to land a full-time position was not available at time. Since we were headed into the Internet recession, after the burst of the “dot-com bubble”, IBM was not creating new jobs within my department. Actually, like many other companies in their industry, they were downsizing and streamlining.
