after graduating from Bentley College during the year of the dot-com bubble burst, one could say that I have been working in the internet marketing industry since the very beginning. Just as the industry has evolved over the years, so to have I gained more knowledge and developed additional skills year after year.
Your website IS your company. Anyone can just make a website, but making one that actually works is what really matters. Having a compelling message with a clearly defined call-to-action, simple navigation, and good content are just some of things that make your website work.
How do we measure the success of our marketing efforts? While utilizing tools such as Google Analytics we can measure the amount of web traffic coming to the site and also see where they are coming from. However, because more traffic does not necessarily translate into more profits, by determining the conversion rate of visitors, the bounce rate, click-through's etc.. are we able to optimize your website to maximize ROI and turn those visitors into customers.
Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, etc.. etc... Everyone is talking about social media these days and how you should be using it for your business. Unfortunately, very few are doing it right. The worlds of social media and search are becoming more and more intertwined everyday. Bing wants to offer more personalized search, Google wants to be a social networking site, Facebook wants to become the hub of all our online activities and brands have to balance multiple campaigns at once if they want to compete. The most successful websites are the ones who recognize social’s impact on SEO and are integrating the two disciplines into one strong online presence.
Any technology services provider that makes you sign a 1 or 2 year contract is a guaranteed rip off. So while technology improves, you are stuck using the same old service, or have to pay extra for improvments, etc.
When you have to pay up front for technology services that are not guaranteed and you may not understand how they work, you are just taking a business risk that your company may not be able to afford. I work within your company to show you that they do work.
